# Camp Bursztynowy Las – availability API > https://api.bursztynowylas.pl gives live availability and total prices for Camp Bursztynowy Las (ul. Stogi 1, 80-642 Gdańsk, Poland). Campsite with Amber cabins (2–6 guests), Safari glamping tents (3–5 guests) and classic cabins, in a pine forest a few minutes' walk from the beach at Górki Zachodnie, Gdańsk. ## Check availability (plain GET, no auth) - https://api.bursztynowylas.pl/availability?from=YYYY-MM-DD&to=YYYY-MM-DD&adults=2&children=0&small_children=0&lang=en - Weekends: https://api.bursztynowylas.pl/availability?when=this_weekend&adults=2 (or when=next_weekend) – Friday to Sunday, resolved by the API. - Guests: `adults` = 16+, `children` = ages 6–15 (paid), `small_children` = ages 0–5 (free, no extra place needed). - Add `&format=md` or `&format=html` for a readable page; default is JSON. - `lang`: en, pl, de. - Response: list of free accommodation types with total price for the stay (PLN), capacity, and a `booking_url` with dates prefilled. `message` is a summary for the guest that ends with that `booking_url`. When nothing is free, `reason` (min_stay, closed_season, unavailable, too_many_guests) and `suggestions` explain and propose dates; each suggestion has `booking_url` (for the guest) and `api_url` (for you, to re-check those dates). `agent_guidance` says what to tell the guest first and what to do next. ## If your browser can't open URLs you build yourself Some browsers (e.g. ChatGPT's) only open links already seen on a page. Then click through https://api.bursztynowylas.pl/browse – month → arrival day → departure → guests – and the last link is the exact /availability query with live prices. Don't estimate prices from the website price list instead. Use what the guest already said; don't ask again. - Turn the guest's words ("drugi weekend maja", "pierwszy tydzień lipca", "Boże Ciało") into from/to dates yourself; no year = the nearest future date; a week = 7 nights, a weekend = Friday → Sunday. Don't ask when a sensible default exists – check and say which dates you checked. Then verify query.dates_text (weekdays) and query.holidays match what the guest meant. - If the guest gives a number of people without mentioning children, they are all adults – don't ask about ages. Ask ages only when children are mentioned: 6–15 → children (paid), 0–5 → small_children (free). - Don't ask which accommodation type the guest wants before checking: one call returns every type that is free and fits the group. If the guest named a type, show that type first. - Camping and camper pitches are booked by phone or email only (see contact_only / how_to_book); don't try to check them. This API has no pitch prices: never quote a per-night pitch price from it – use the campsite price list (per person + tent/camper + car + electricity). - reason=closed_season means the camp is closed on those dates (seasonal campsite). Never call it "sold out", and don't encourage a visit then; offer dates in the next season. - Prices from /availability are totals for the whole stay in PLN and already include the Gdańsk local tax (per person per night) – say so, and never add it again. Per-night prices on the website price list and from_price_per_night in /accommodations exclude it. - For a price on specific dates always call /availability. Never estimate a cabin or tent stay price from the website price list (price per night × nights): prices depend on the dates, the number of guests and the rate (non-refundable / refundable), and old cached price lists circulate. If you cannot reach the API, say the price could not be checked and give the booking page – don't give a calculated figure. - Bookings are completed by the guest on booking_url; this API cannot book. Link to booking_url, never invent URLs. - Never give the guest a link to this API or its pages (availability, accommodations, weather – any format): it is for AI assistants only. Guest-facing links are only booking_url (the camp's booking system) and the camp website, e.g. the booking page https://www.bursztynowylas.pl/rezerwacje. - Follow `agent_guidance` in each response: say_first, avoid, and next_actions (ready-to-call URLs). ## Booking - Give the guest the `booking_url` of the chosen option (or the top-level `booking_url` for all free units). The guest enters their details and pays there; a reservation exists only once the booking system confirms it. - Agents with a browser: open `booking_url` or https://client8685.idobooking.com/book-now directly. The widget on https://www.bursztynowylas.pl/rezerwacje is an embedded frame that agents often cannot use. The guest confirms and pays themselves. ## Other - [Camp facts: season, minimum stay, guests, tax, contact](https://api.bursztynowylas.pl/info) (JSON) - [All accommodation types](https://api.bursztynowylas.pl/accommodations?format=md&lang=en) - [Weather forecast at the camp, ~9 days, with weekend](https://api.bursztynowylas.pl/weather?lang=en) (JSON) - [OpenAPI spec](https://api.bursztynowylas.pl/openapi.json) - [Website](https://www.bursztynowylas.pl) - [Booking page](https://www.bursztynowylas.pl/rezerwacje) - [Camp guide for AI assistants: stay rules, check-in, pets, camping pitch prices, site content](https://www.bursztynowylas.pl/llms.txt) ## Facts - Season: 30 Apr 2027 (first arrival) – 19 Sep 2027 (last departure). - Minimum stay (cabins and safari tents): 2 nights; 3 nights in high season (nights of 30 Apr – 3 May, 27 May – 29 May, 25 Jun – 29 Aug). The booking system has the final rule – /availability reports reason=min_stay with suggestions. - Prices in PLN: a non-refundable rate and a ~5% higher refundable rate – show both. Totals already include the Gdańsk local tax (3.46 PLN per person per night); never add it again. Per-night prices on the website price list exclude it. - Camping and camper pitches are booked by phone or email only: +48 574 571 105 (also WhatsApp), info@bursztynowylas.pl.
